Toach Terms of Service
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Toach (the “Service”), a household coordination application for sharing tasks, calendars, and group decisions. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Toach helps a household coordinate tasks and chores, pool calendar availability, make group decisions, and interact with an AI assistant. Features depend on the services you connect and may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account. If you are a minor, an adult household administrator must set up and supervise your account.
- You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- A household administrator is responsible for the members they invite, including any minors, and for how their household uses the Service.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
- Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple and governed by Apple’s terms; auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law or the applicable app store’s policies, payments are non-refundable.
- Subscription tiers, seat limits, and prices are described at the point of purchase and may change on a prospective basis.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to access data belonging to other households or users, or otherwise circumvent the Service’s security or access controls.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service, or attempt to reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to it.
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Use the AI assistant to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit (tasks, messages, uploads, and similar). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and your household. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the rights to share it.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example Google and Microsoft calendars, Apple Sign in and push notifications, and the AI provider). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the third parties’ terms and privacy practices, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the operator and its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or redistribute the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI-generated suggestions, time estimates, or reminders will be accurate. You are responsible for verifying important information (such as calendar times and departure alerts).
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Your data → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by direct message to active users, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
